Whats On

The clubs success in the National Competitions continues this time for the Ladies with Suzie Collings and myself reaching the quarter-finals of the National Pairs, which will be played at Truro on Sunday 9th June at 9.30 a.m.

The Men’s County League started last week and the results I have received are as follows:

A Team winning 5 – 0 at Penryn

B Team losing 5 – 0 to Falmouth A

C & D Teams played each other with the C Team coming away with all 5 Points

National 2 Fours the A Team winning at Trenance and B Team losing at Porthmeor

National Top Club the B Team lost a close game against Trenance 3 – 2

The first game in the Mixed Triples League was won against Penryn

Strollers lost at Home to Mawnan

Ladies results

Rippon B losing away to Carnon Downs

There will be no Roll-Up to day as the Green is being used for Group 4 Ladies Mary Barrett Competition, please come and support our Drawn Club Team of Ruth Nichols, Pam Roberts and Jenny Hosking starting at 9.30 a.m.

Good Luck today to David Parr, Nigel Laity and Colin Binny and the rest of the team playing for Cornwall in the Balcomb Trophy v Worcestershire at Winscombe

I know there has been success in the National & County Competitions for our members during the past week and good luck to those playing this week.
