Happy & Healthy New Year Everyone.
Well I’m sure you are all like me and hoping that the new decade will a happy and memorable time for us all.
Getting us back into the swing of things again, Short Mat will start this coming Friday 3rd January with the usual Bowls Drive starting at 7.00 p.m. this is open to all members so why not come along, if you don’t want to Bowl just come and have drink and a catch up with everyone.
Tuesday 7th January – There will be no Short Mat this is due to Denzil Oates Funeral.
The Funeral is at 2.30 p.m. at St Paul’s Church, Chacewater. Dress code for Male Members is Club Tie & Blazers (this is optional). After the service the Wake will be held at the Club before Denzil’s cremation.
Wednesday 8th January
2.00 p.m. – Carpet Bowls, if you would like to try this, please turn up.
Friday 10th January
7.00 p.m. – Short Mat
Saturday 11th January
7.30 p.m. Quiz Night – Peter & Melis are running another Quiz Night this was very enjoyable last year. Teams of up to 6 people, you do not have to get your teams before, just turn up and teams can be made up.
Entry Fee is £1.00 per person.
Tuesday 14th January
Friendly v Veryan at 10.00 a.m. – the team for this is on the Notice board.
